Our annual Scrabble Challenge and accompanying auction helps Adult Literacy Advocates provide a variety of educational and workplace development programs to help adults in the Greater Baton Rouge area achieve personal, employment, and family goals by improving their literacy skills. Programs include Basic Literacy, HiSET (formerly GED) Preparation, and ESL (English as a Second Language).

As part of our 24th Annual Scrabble Challenge, these items are being offered as online items only, and will not be available in the silent auction at the event itself. The winners of the items will have the option of including a donation to cover processing and marketing fees totaling 8% of the sale price if they desire. Otherwise, fees will be paid by the seller. Item may be claimed by calling the ALA office at 225-383-1090 to set an appointment for pick-up after winner is announced. Shipping or delivery of items will not be available.
